Extruded from a single piece of 6061 aerospace grade aluminum, the BikeHard Urbanite platform pedal is one of the most eye pleasing lightweight city pedals on the market today. Once extruded, each pedal body is CNC machined from every angle to remove excess material, enhance a uniquely sexy look, and accept 12 inserted traction pins. Combined with the slight concaved angle of the shoe area, these replaceable traction pins markedly enhance grip on even the slipperiest of days. A low profile heat treated cro-moly steel spindle is then built into the pedal body with premium sealed cartridge bearings for smooth uninterrupted pedal motion. Weighing in at an exceptionally light 230 grams per pair, the Urbanite pedal comes finished in either an sandblasted scratch resistant black or a high polished silver.
